When things do not go as planned, it is all too easy to get overly stressed, to take things seriously, to label events and even suffer from apparent set backs. But it is really how we take these challenges, how we forge our character with them, that makes us who we are.
How do you take apparent set backs? How do you take the jokes of the gods? Do you pest? Do you suffer? Or do you grow more patience to endure, more persistence to keep going, more acceptance to let go, with joy?
Man suffers only because he takes seriously what the gods made for fun.
